I’ve been working through anxiety and IBS for years. Once I did the program I was amazed to see how much better I felt once I knew exactly what foods to focus on in my diet.

Although I thought I was eating healthy, I still felt awful. After starting Digestion By Design, I was able to identify that just because a food is ‘good for you’ it was in fact not good for me.

After just 1 month of the program I had no more bloating, next to no GI symptoms and I actually lost 10 lbs. I was able to exercise again and feel like myself again. This was the guidance I needed to help get my life back. I was desparate and slipping into depression. I gained so much weight, felt terrible and spent way too much time in the bathroom.

My relationship with my husband was suffering because I didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin. I had no desire to be intimate and felt like I was destined for a life of baggy clothes to hide my non-pregnant pregnant looking belly. 

Seeing my GI doc and primary care only gave me meds and generic lists of foods to stay away from and I never even had time to ask questions. 

I used to be exhausted and it was a chore to get through dinner and getting my kids to bed. I often was falling asleep in bed with them and couldn’t keep up with everything else I needed to do. 

Once I got my results and changed my foods, OH MY GOSH! I was like a new person. Within 8 days I was feeling amazing! Energized, bloating was way down, that I no longer looked pregnant and started wearing less loose tops.

I think I’m a pretty healthy person, but I couldn’t figure out what was causing my skin rash, UNPREDICTABLE diarrhea, and nasal congestion.

I was sick of the steroid creams that didn’t seem to be working that well and the unxpected, urgent  trips to the bathroom.

When I found out that food could be a cause, I was intrigued. I wish I did this sooner.

Making a few changes to the foods that I am eating and my skin is SO much better, I’m not congested and I’m no longer running to the bathroom! Thank you. I’m relieved to know what foods were aggravating me. No more steriod creams or stress! 



After having my children, I felt like I was living in a body I didn’t recognize. Couldn’t lose the baby weight, despite nursing both babes for over a year. 3 weeks in to the coaching program and I’m not sprinting to the bathroom any more and I’ve actually lost 15# from bloating and stopping the emotional eating because I actually have a plan that works!!



My Story

After feeling defeated by my own life-disrupting digestive health struggles and not wanting to be defined by them, I knew there had to be more than prescriptions and unproductive appointments. 

My labs always looked “normal” but I wasn’t feeling normal. I wasn’t going to settle. 

When I added 2 hours onto a 4 hour road trip due to my own pain and unpredictable digestive distress, I knew I had to do something more to figure this out. 

Conventional medicine just wasn’t working for me. Combining appointments, ultrasounds, CT, labs and prescriptions didn’t give me any meaningful solutions. I knew there had to be more than what I learned in school. The “try this and see” approach didn’t make sense to me. 

I COULDN’T STAND TO HEAR “I DON’T KNOW” “SEE HOW IT GOES” one more time from the many specialists that I saw for:

Acne, IBS, Migraines, fatigue, reflux and heartburn, difficulty swallowing. 

Once I took my health into my own hands, I found my solution and I haven’t looked back. I decided to start my own practice helping women and supporting them in the way I never was. 

I developed Digestion By Design to help women get their lives back instead of walking around in a body that feels like it doesn’t belong to you. 

I focus on gut health/ digestive health because our digestion impacts our brain, skin, hormones and so much more. It’s like the hub of a wheel connecting the spokes.  I don’t believe in using diets or willpower and cookie cutter recommendations don’t work either. There’s an overwhelming amount of information available to us, yet things aren’t changing. I help you get the answers that are already inside your body so that you can nourish and thrive.

When you’re able to nourish your body, that’s when you can begin to revive your life. Revive your relationships with yourself, food, family, partner. Revive your confidence that you’re improving your health to be present for those important people in your life. 

When you revive your relationships because you’ve nourished your body, that’s when you can THRIVE.
